Dr. Rita Singh completed her postgraduate degree in Periodontics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Sciences, Karnataka, India, 2001. She is currently the Vice President of Nepalese Society of Implant Dentistry. She served as President of Nepalese Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology from 2017 to 2019. She had worked in the Department of Periodontology, Kathmandu University as an associate professor till 2018.

She has been actively attending Implantology courses from different associations all over the globe. She has been an active member of Divas in Dentistry Movement. She has focused her topics on Implant Aesthetics and Soft tissue management, and had been lecturing internationally on these topics. Her 18 year clinical practice in Kathmandu is limited to Implantology and Periodontology. She is a member of Zonta International, by empowering women through service and advocacy in Nepal.
