CREDENTIALS
Dr. Miriam Ting graduated with a DMD (magna cum laude) from Temple University, Philadelphia, and a BDS from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. She completed a certificate in Advanced Periodontology and a MS in Craniofacial Biology at the University of Southern California. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Ting is the Founder and Director of the Think Dental Learning Institute; she has a private practice, Think Oral Implants and Periodontics, limited to Periodontology in Paoli, PA; and she is on faculty for the Dental Residency Program at Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Ting has had faculty appointments at University of Southern California, Nova Southeastern University, University of Pittsburgh and Temple University.

Dr. Ting was recognized as the “Outstanding Periodontal Graduate” by the California Society of Periodontists. Other awards included Asia Pacific Dental Students Association project competition (1st place), Young Researcher’s Award (1st place), ICOI Summer Implant Poster Competition 2015 (3rd place), ICOI Summer Implant Poster Competition 2016 (2nd place).

Dr. Ting has published numerous research and review papers, systematic reviews, and textbook chapters on periodontal microbiology and dental implant rehabilitation in peer-reviewed journals such as Periodontology 2000, Journal of Oral Implantology, Implant Dentistry, Compendium, Journal of Periodontal Research and European Journal of Oral Sciences. Dr. Ting’s publications has over 800 citations in various peer-reviewed journals worldwide.
