Dr. Marco Castro

Dr. Marco Antonio Castro Pinto was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on June 17th of 1981. Studied his dental degree at Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala City. After completing his DDS program he entered the Advanced Prosthodontics program in Francisco Marroquin University. After completing the Advanced Proshtodontics program was accepted in UCLA to course the advanced clinical training in Surgical Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Castro has been a contributor to Understanding Platelet Rich Fibrin book published by Quintessence. Dr Castro has been working hand to hand with Dr Rick Miron in the use of PRF for extra oral chronically non healing wounds. Now a day Dr Castro is working on refining the technique to close non healing chronicle wounds specially on the diabetic foot ulcers.

Dr. Castro has recently got a certificate on Scientific Investigation which he coursed in the San Carlos University of Guatemala.

Dr Castro was given the privilege to become Dean at the School of Dentistry at Montemorelos University in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Currently he is working with a team on various projects related with Platelet Rich Fibrin. Dr Castro works in close relation with other universities such as the Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (CIDICS centro de investigacion y desarrollo en ciencias de la salud Dr Myriam Angelica de la Garza Ramos) and Nova University through Dr. Rick Miron.
