Dr. Leela Subhashini Alluri

Dr. Leela Subhashini Alluri received her Certificate and MSD in Periodontics from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in June 2020. She is a board-eligible periodontist. She completed her oral and maxillofacial medicine and diagnostic sciences fellowship in June 2017. Her practice scope includes dental implants, both non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal diseases, crown lengthening, periodontal soft tissue grafting, guided bone regeneration, maxillary sinus augmentation, complicated extractions, and ridge extraction preservation. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Leela is actively involved in education and several professional associations through her research.

She would like further to pair her clinical work with her ongoing research. She has published several articles in PubMed Indexed journals and has presented numerous posters on varying concepts at state, national, and international dental conferences. She has previously won the award attributed to “best poster”. Her master thesis abstract was accepted for poster presentation at the Midwest Society of Periodontology Graduate Student Forum in February 2020 and Basic Science 2020 Research Forum finalist American Academy of Periodontology annual meeting.

She is a peer reviewer for several dental journals and serving as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Advanced Oral Research. She has been awarded the Academic Leadership for Residents award attributed by the American Institute of Dental Public Health (AIDPH)-AAL.

Dr. Leela’s hobbies include photography, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.
