Dr. Bernard Gross

Dr. Emmanuel Bernard Gross was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He completed his secondary education in Los Angeles prior to graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Organismal Biology he attended the Medical College of Virginia, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He then completed a dual University and Hospital based pediatric dentistry residency at The University of Southern California and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Since 1992 he has been in clinical practice in Santa Monica, California. His practice focuses on minimally invasive dentistry, and the use of modern bonding materials in innovative ways to enhance the positive experience that young patients have while getting treated. He has been using decay arresting techniques 25 years before most clinicians in the USA had been exposed to these methods. Dr. Gross is part time faculty at UCLA since the completion of his residency. He has served on the board of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and for 20 years has served on the California Dental Association Peer review Committee as Chairperson for the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. For 19 years Dr. Gross served on the Board for United Cerebral Palsy for Los Angeles and Ventura Counties as well as President of Housing and Urban Development for this organization. He remains committed to being an advocate for children in all aspects of their lives.
