Dr. Nicholas Norvell

Nicholas G. Norvell, DDS, MDS, CDT is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Meharry Medical College and maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Dr. Norvell graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where he received his doctoral degree, master’s degree, and postgraduate certificate in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Norvell is an active member of multiple professional organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration, American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, International Academy of Gnathology, and International Team for Implantology. He has been published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry for his research with complete dentures and digital technology. Dr. Norvell has been recognized by the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, and the University of Tennessee for his contributions to dentistry and has been invited to speak nationally on topics such as digital dentistry, implant dentistry, and complex prosthodontic treatment.
