CREDENTIALS
After completing his International General Certificate of Secondary Education IGCSE from Cambridge University, Dr. Joseph Mina Atalla started dental school and became a dentist by the age of 22.

He continued his education and trainings mostly focused on Implant dentistry from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists ICOI, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zahnärztliche Implantologiehe DGZI, Alexandria Oral Implantologists Association AOIA, Goethe Frankfurt University , Vienna Medical University, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UCLA, Boston University and New York University.

He received his preclinical training at UCLA and MUST. Dr. Atalla completed his dental education three times in three countries. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery, from Misr University for Science and Technology MUST, and his residency (AEGD) at Cairo University, Ein Shams University and Alexandria Dental Research Center. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Universidad De La Salle, then moved back to California where he practice in Tustin. Dr. Atalla is currently involved in research and Master of Science at Goethe Frankfurt University, Germany.

Dr. Atalla’s diverse education, training and experience in Egypt, the United States, Mexico and Germany, led his private practice to become one of only around 200 offices world wide to be ranked as a World Member of leading Implant Centers.

Dr. Atalla is also a Fellow, Master and Board Certified Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He was the first member in the United States and given the title of an ‘’Expert’’ from the German Society of Oral Implantologists DGOI.

Dr. Atalla is an expert for the California Dental board and honored to be a regent of the Top 100 dentists in the world association. He was a licensed lifeguard instructor and voted one of America’s best dentists multiple times.
