This session will explore how AI technologies are reshaping diagnostics, treatment planning, patient engagement, and clinical workflows across dentistry and medicine in Latin American countries. From urban hospitals to rural clinics, AI offers scalable solutions to bridge gaps in access, quality, and efficiency—making it a vital tool for clinicians, educators, and policymakers. This session (June 28) will convene thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners from across the region to share insights, challenges, and success stories.
This session will also serve as the official launch of the Latino/Hispano Dental-Medical AI Initiative: US Latino, LATAM, & Emerging Markets. Launch of the Latino/Hispano Dental-Medical AI Initiative: US Latino, LATAM, & Emerging Markets, co-led by Dr. Sonia, Dr. Val Alexandre Torres, and Dr. Engers Fernandez, will officially launch at the Global Summits Institute’s London Event as a collaborative program aligned with the Healthcare Intelligence Board (HIB).
It serves to open the channels of communication for the sharing of knowledge and best practices between US Latino, LATAM, & Emerging Markets, and everyone else who wants to collaborate with them. This people-focused initiative seeks to advance responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare and dentistry, with a focus on building trust, access, and engagement among U.S. Latino, Latin American, Caribbean, and Emerging Market populations. By placing doctors (MDs, DDSs, DMDs, and other experts) at the forefront of AI leadership, it aims to ensure that technology enhances, not replaces, human potential, compassion, and dignity in patient care.
