Dr. Anthony Chang, founder of AIMed, ABAIM (American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine) and ACAIM/PCAIM (Alliance of Centers of AI in Medicine/Pediatric Centers for AI in Medicine) is a pediatric cardiologist and pioneering figure in artificial intelligence in medicine. With advanced degrees from UCLA, and Stanford, his expertise spans clinical care, public health, AI innovation and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Chang has led pediatric cardiac intensive care programs at CHLA, Texas Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), where he now serves as Chief Intelligence and Innovation Officer. He’s renowned for introducing innovative therapies in cardiac care.

As editor of authoritative textbooks and founder of societies like the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society and Asia-Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society, Dr. Chang has significantly advanced pediatric cardiac care. His pioneering work in AI led to the establishment of the Medical Intelligence and Innovation Institute (MI4) at CHOC and the creation of AIMed, a leading AI in healthcare platform.

His book Intelligence-Based Medicine has become a cornerstone textbook. Recently publishing Intelligence-Based Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, he also has 3 more books in progress.

Dr. Chang’s visionary leadership at AIMed26 continues to drive progress at the intersection of medicine and artificial intelligence, shaping the future of healthcare.
